Bobby Wallace had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the St. Louis Perfectos bested the
New York Giants 8 to 5 at Robison Field.

St. Louis won the game with a rally in the 8th inning scoring 3 runs on 3
hits.  Jesse Burkett started the inning off right when he drew a walk.  Cupid
Childs was next and he singled.  One out later, Wallace then hit a deep fly
which plated a run.  Lave Cross came up and he was walked intentionally.
Patsy Tebeau stepped into the box and delivered a one-base hit scoring one
more run.  Harry Blake added his contribution to the rally and laced a
base-knock scoring the final run of the inning.  St. Louis banged out 13 hits
on the afternoon.  

Pete McBride(2-2) was the winner allowing 5 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Willie
Sudhoff was credited with his 1st save.  Bill Carrick(11-11) was charged with
the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 13 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.

The St. Louis ballclub's record now stands at 47-34.  With this loss, New York
has a 5-5 record of late, 34-45 overall.
