Joe Lake tossed a complete game and third baseman Hans Lobert connected with a
'big fly' and had 4 RBI as the New York-NL Giants man-handled the Boston-AL
Red Sox - the final score was 13 to 2.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Lobert. He doubled knocking in a run in the 1st inning and lost
the ball over the fence for three runs in the 2nd inning. New York-NL
managed 18 hits in their victory.

The win went to Lake(9-5) who allowed 2 runs in the game. Charley Hall(3-3)
was the loser. He was touched for 9 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings.
