Virgil Trucks(3-2) had a steady outing. He surrendered 5 hits and 3 walks in 5
and 1/3 innings.  Cincinnati was out-hit by New York-AL, 13 hits to 6.

Trucks got help from Bob Kelly who was credited with his 1st save.  Jim
Hearn(6-4) was the loser.  He was unable to control the New York-AL offense
and allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 2 innings.
