Joe McGinnity had a complete game as the New York Giants defeated the Brooklyn
Superbas by the score of 5 to 1 at Washington Park.

Brooklyn was unable to recover after New York went ahead in the top of the 2nd
inning scoring a single run using 2 hits.  The early run support proved
sufficient for McGinnity(2-1) and New York.  That was all the run support
McGinnity required.  New York finished with 10 hits in the victory.  

Wild Bill Donovan(13-7) took the loss.  He gave up 5 runs and 10 hits in 9
innings.
