John Titus hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI and Fred Glade completed the game
without help from the bullpen as the Philadelphia-NL Phillies defeated the
Boston-AL Americans by a score of 10 to 2 at Huntington Ave Grnds.

The Boston-AL fans didn't appreciate the big day Titus had.  He lashed a
single which brought home a run in the 1st inning, doubled in the 7th inning
and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 9th inning.  Philadelphia-NL
totaled 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Glade(12-8), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Al Orth(6-9)
suffered the loss.  He gave up 10 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings.
