Larry Jansen completed the game without help from the bullpen as the
Chicago-NL Cubs rallied impressively to win in dramatic style over New
York-AL Yankees, 7 to 3.

Chicago-NL claimed the early lead in the first inning as they scored 2 runs on
2 base hits.  Chicago-NL finished with 10 hits in the victory.  

The victory was credited to Jansen(10-6) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Tommy Byrne(5-3) was the loser.  Wth the win Chicago-NL now has a
record of 44-45.  Still in a bad slump, with this loss, New York-AL is 2-8
lately and 34-59, worst in the league on the year.
