Terry Larkin had a complete game at Lake Front Park as the Chicago White
Stockings won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the Indianapolis Blues
by the count of 4 to 3.

Chicago won the game with a rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs.  Jack
Remsen led off the inning for Chicago when he reached on an error.  Remsen
got a great jump and stole second easily.  Jimmy Hallinan then reached on an
error scoring a run.  After an out was recorded, Joe Start stepped up to the
plate and he doubled making Chicago the victor and beginning a joyous home
town celebration.  Chicago had 9 hits for the afternoon.  

Larkin(26-8), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The Only
Nolan(14-17) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 4 runs and 9 hits in 8 and
1/3 innings.  

The Chicago ballclub's record now stands at a league leading 28-10.  With the
loss Indianapolis now has a record of 15-23.
