First baseman Charlie Comiskey hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI and Dave
Foutz allowed Comiskey to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the
St. Louis Browns really laid it on the Baltimore Orioles 18 to 8.

Comiskey had a big day with his bat. He doubled in the 7th inning and clubbed
a two-run home run in the 8th inning. St. Louis lit up the scoreboard in the
1st inning with 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning when they had 4 runs on 4
hits. The St. Louis offense man-handled the Baltimore pitching staff as they
scored in 7 of the 9 innings.

Foutz(18-8) was the winner allowing 8 runs for the game. Phenomenal
Smith(18-11) was the loser. He was knocked around by St. Louis, allowing 18
hits and 8 walks in 9 innings.
