Willie Keeler had 2 base hits and Dad Clarkson tossed a complete game as the
Baltimore Orioles topped the lifeless Louisville Colonels by a score of 4 to
3 at Eclipse Park.

Baltimore won the game with a run in the top of the 8th inning.  After an out
was recorded, Kid Gleason delivered a single.  Gleason stole second with some
aggressive base running.  After another out, Boileryard Clarke then doubled
scoring the run.  Baltimore banged out 8 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Clarkson(10-7) who went the distance, allowing 3
runs. Bert Inks(4-12) was the loser.  He pitched 9 innings giving up 8 hits
and 6 walks.
