Hugh Duffy had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Ted Lewis was able to finish what he
started and was credited with a complete game as the powerful Boston
Beaneaters defeated the St. Louis Browns 14 to 7 at Robison Field.

Boston jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning scoring one runner.  Boston
kept the pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different
innings.  

Lewis(12-7) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Bill
Hart(3-17) was hit with the loss.  He was unable to control the Boston
offense and allowed 16 hits and 6 walks in 9 innings.  

This win by Boston continues their recent hot streak.  In their last ten
