Joe Kelley rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Brooklyn Superbas beat the
St. Louis Perfectos by a score of 6 to 3.

Kelley was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in
the 1st inning, lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 3rd
inning and stroked a base-hit resulting in a run in the 4th inning. Brooklyn
had 12 hits overall, while St. Louis had 7.

Doc McJames(10-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 2/3 innings and
allowing 3 runs. Bill Reidy recorded the save, his 3rd. Jack Powell(19-8)
was the losing pitcher.
