Tris Speaker had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the red-hot Boston Red Sox bested the
Chicago White Sox 11 to 3 at Huntington Ave. Grds.

Speaker enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He stroked a base-hit which scored a
run in the 1st inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 3rd inning,
laced a single in the 6th inning and tripled in the 8th inning.  Overall
Boston out-hit Chicago 14 to 8.  

Ed Karger(6-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 3 runs. Doc White(7-10) ended up with the loss.  He was knocked
around, surrendering 10 runs in 6 innings.
