Philadelphia-NL Phillies.

Philadelphia-NL jumped on top to stay in the 3rd inning plating an isolated
run on 2 hits.  That early run support was enough for Art Houtteman(12-5) and
Philadelphia-NL.  Chicago-NL had 12 hits in the game while Philadelphia-NL
had 9, but Philadelphia-NL had the more timely hits.  

The loss was charged to Harry Brecheen(4-7).  Philadelphia-NL knocked him
