Charlie Buffinton had a complete game and Ezra Sutton had 4 hits and 3 RBI at
Riverside Park where the Boston Beaneaters beat the Buffalo Bisons 13 to
7.

Buffalo never recovered after Boston took the lead in the top of the 2nd
inning when they scored 3 runs on 2 hits.  Boston finished with 18 hits in
the victory.  

The victory was credited to Buffinton(15-8) who went the distance, allowing 7
runs. Pud Galvin(21-19) was hit with the loss.  He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 18 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.  

Wth the win Boston now has a record of a league leading 42-18.  Buffalo has a
record of 26-32 after the loss.
