Zeke Wilson tossed a complete game and shortstop Ed McKean had 2 base hits and
3 RBI as the Cleveland Spiders smashed the overmatched Cincinnati Reds, 15 to
2.

Cleveland promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring 3 runners
on 4 hits.  That early scoring was all that Wilson(10-0) needed.  Cleveland
bats were hot in the 4th inning scoring 4 runs.  Cleveland kept the pressure
on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.  

Billy Rhines(8-7) was the loser.  He was touched for 18 hits and 8 walks in 8
