Jimmy Burke had 5 hits and 4 RBI and Jake Weimer pitched a complete game as
the New York-NL Giants outscored the Pittsburgh Pirates 7 to 4.

New York-NL won the game with a rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs on 3 hits.
Cy Seymour led off and got things going when he drew a walk.  Jack Doyle
stepped into the batter's box and he ripped a single.  Topsy Hartsel then
delivered a single which scored a run.  Watty Lee then bounced one in the
dirt for a wild pitch.  Burke came up to bat and slapped a one-base hit with
two more runners crossing home.  New York-NL finished with 15 hits in the
victory.  

Weimer(9-7) lasted until the end allowing 4 runs for the win. Lee(6-7) was the
loser in relief.  He was knocked around, surrendering 3 runs in 2 innings.
