Rube Waddell pitched a 2 hitter at Huntington Ave Grnds as the Boston-AL
Americans won in their last at-bat beating the St. Louis-AL Browns by the
count of 2 to 1.

The game was decided in the 9th inning.  After an out was recorded, Emmett
Heidrick laced a base-hit.  Heidrick took his lead and swiped second.
Charles Moran then lined a single making Boston-AL the victor and beginning a
joyous home town celebration.  Boston-AL had 7 hits for the afternoon.

Waddell(7-9) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Jack Harper(3-13)
absorbed the loss.  'Everything felt great' Waddell said. 'I had a good
fastball, I felt I could throw it by everybody today.'
