Eddie Cicotte was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Washington Nationals defeated the lifeless Detroit
Tigers by a score of 6 to 2 at National Park.

Washington took the lead off Dutch Leonard in the first inning with 2 runs.
After an out was recorded, Heinie Zimmerman started the rally when he smacked
a single.  Rebel Oakes came to the plate and drew a walk.  Ed Konetchy then
reached on an error.  Leonard then unleashed a wild pitch which scored a run.
Ray Morgan came up to bat and would ground out scoring the final run of the
inning.  Washington had 10 hits for the afternoon.  

The win went to Cicotte(6-8) who allowed 2 runs in the game. The loss was
charged to Leonard(4-11).  He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits and 4 walks in 6
innings.
