Jack Stivetts went the distance and Shorty Fuller had 2 base hits as the St.
Louis Browns defeated the pathetic Syracuse Stars by a score of 6 to 4 at
Star Park.

Stivetts(16-12) gave St. Louis a solid outing.  He allowed just 8 hits and 1
walk in 9 innings.  Syracuse out-hit St. Louis 8 to 5, but St. Louis ended up
with more runs.  

Dan Casey(3-24) was given the loss.  This win by St. Louis continues their
recent hot streak.  In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2.  For
the season, they are 41-37.  Still in a bad slump, with this loss, Syracuse
is 2-8 lately and 23-55 on the year.
