Kip Selbach had 3 base hits and 3 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles came back to
win one over Cleveland Bronchos, 9 to 8.

Baltimore had the game winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2
runs using 3 hits.  After an out was recorded, George Yeager began the rally
when he lashed a single.  Cy Seymour stepped up to the plate and he delivered
a one-base hit.  Seymour stole second with some aggressive base running.
After another out, Selbach came to the plate and stroked a base-hit making
Baltimore the winners and sending the 2,330 fans home happy.  Despite scoring
in 5 separate innings, Cleveland could not get the win.  

Crese Heismann(2-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing
no runs. Dummy Leitner(2-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.  He allowed 1
run and 2 hits in 1/3 of an inning.  

Wilbert Robinson was ebullient after the game, 'It's great to win a hard
fought game like that.  Our guys just weren't going to be denied.  And did
you see the fans - they were going wild! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win this
afternoon!'
