Bill Bailey was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game at Huntington Ave Grnds where the St. Louis Browns beat the
Boston Red Sox in 11 innings 3 to 2.

Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings.  St. Louis won the game
in the 11th inning.  After an out was recorded, Jimmy Williams slapped a
base-hit.  Williams got a great jump and stole second easily.  Harry Wolter
then let loose a wild pitch.  Hobe Ferris stepped in and he lined a single
scoring the run.  St. Louis finished with 9 hits in the victory.  

The victory was credited to Bailey(4-5) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Wolter(4-2) was tagged with the loss.
