Forbes Field as the red-hot Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Rustlers 4 to
1.
Camnitz(15-7) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Boston offense. He
didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Pittsburgh managed
only 6 hits on the afternoon.
Lefty Tyler(5-4) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 6 hits and 6 walks
in 8 innings. 'Our guys just weren't seeing the ball today.' Fred Tenney
said. 'Camnitz simply dominated us.'
