Chicago jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning scoring one runner.  Chicago
finished with just 6 hits in the victory.  

Weimer(14-6) finished the game allowing 1 run in the victory. Ed Poole(6-6)
was the losing pitcher.  He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an
