Jack Warner had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Roscoe Miller pitched a complete
game as the New York Giants defeated the Brooklyn Superbas by the score of 7
to 3 at Washington Park.

New York went ahead for good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring a single run
using 2 hits.  Roger Bresnahan drew a walk.  Dan McGann stepped up next and
he stroked a single.  Sam Mertes then grounded into a double play scoring the
run.  New York totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.  

The win went to Miller(2-2) who allowed 3 runs in the game. Oscar Jones(14-8)
ended up with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 12 hits and 5 walks in 9
innings.
