The Washington Nationals and the Chicago White Sox locked up in an exciting
one-run game at South Side Park. The final score was the Washington
Nationals 6, the Chicago White Sox 5.

Jesse Tannehill(3-3) had a solid outing for Washington. He went 8 and 1/3
innings and surrended up 5 hits and 4 walks. Chicago threatened in the 9th
but their rally came up short.

Eli Cates recorded the save, his 6th. Doc White(9-10) took the loss. He got
hammered, allowing 14 hits and 6 walks in 7 and 2/3 innings.

Fielder Jones was reflective after the loss, 'We should have won this one, we
just made one too many mistakes. Son-of-a-gun, that added a couple more
white hairs on this noggin of mine.'
