Ed Daily pitched a complete game at Recreation Park as the Philadelphia
Quakers beat the Buffalo Bisons in 11 innings 6 to 5.

The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings.  Philadelphia ended up winning
it in the 11th inning.  Sid Farrar reached on an error.  Jim Fogarty next to
the plate and he drew a walk.  After an out was recorded, Al Myers then laced
a base-knock giving Philadelphia the win much to the delight of the home town
crowd.  Philadelphia had 13 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory went to Daily(13-14) who went the distance allowing 5 runs. Billy
Serad(7-22) took the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits and 5 walks in
10 and 1/3 innings.
