Adonis Terry had a complete game and Bill Everitt had 2 base hits as the
Chicago Colts won a heart-stopping victory over the St. Louis Browns, 3 to
2.

The game was won by Chicago with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Ace
Stewart slapped a one-base hit.  Tim Donahue followed and he drew a walk.
After an out was recorded, Everitt then drew a walk to load the bases.  Walt
Wilmot came up and he worked the squeeze play to perfection making Chicago
the victors to the delight of the home town faithful.  Chicago managed 7 hits
in their victory.  

The win was credited to Terry(12-11) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Red Ehret(6-14) was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 8 and 1/3 innings
allowing 7 hits and 4 walks.
