Jimmy Collins smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Ted Lewis was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at Robison Field
where the Boston Beaneaters beat the St. Louis Browns 11 to 3.

Collins was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He cracked a two-run shot in the 1st
inning, hit a single in the 3rd inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 5th inning. Boston finished with 17 hits in the victory.

Lewis(11-6) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. Jack
Taylor(9-13) took the loss. He served up 4 homeruns in his 8 and 2/3
innings.
