The New York-NL Giants bested the Philadelphia-AL Athletics by a 6 to 3 score
at Columbia Park.
New York-NL tallied 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning when they came up with
4 base hits. The highlight belonged to Ty Cobb who deflated the mood of the
partisan fans when he tripled which was good for two runs. George Ferguson
came throught with a perfect ninth inning to earn his 7th save.
Nap Rucker(11-8) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. Doc White(9-19)
was hit with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 3 walks in 6
