Pete Alexander whiffed 13 batters as the New York-NL Giants defeated the
Brooklyn Dodgers 6 to 0 at Washington Park.

Honus Wagner enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He tripled which was good for
two runs in the 1st inning, delivered a single in the 4th inning and tripled
resulting in a run in the 8th inning.  New York-NL banged out 10 hits on the
afternoon.  

Alexander(12-15) was credited with the shutout. George Suggs(11-11) was the
loser.  'He was really impressive today,' Suggs said of his counterpart.
'Our guys were just swinging at air.'
