Frank Dwyer completed the game without help from the bullpen at League Park as
the Cincinnati Reds won in their last at-bat beating the dreadful St. Louis
Browns by the count of 4 to 3.

The game was won by Cincinnati when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning.  After an out was recorded, Charlie Irwin doubled.  One out later,
Bill Gray stepped in and he lined a base-hit making Cincinnati the victor and
beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Cincinnati had 9 hits for the
afternoon.  

Dwyer(12-11) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. Bill
Hart(8-20) was the loser.  He gave up 9 hits and 1 walk in 8 and 2/3 innings.
