Jake Stahl went deep and had 3 RBI at Bennett Park where the Boston Red Sox
beat the Detroit Tigers by the score of 6 to 4.

Detroit was unable to claim the lead after Boston went ahead in the top of the
3rd inning scoring a single run utilizing 2 base hits.  Boston out-hit
Detroit for the game, 10 hits to 7.  

Eddie Cicotte(7-6) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Frank
Arellanes recorded the save, his 2nd.  Ed Killian(11-7) was given the loss.
He pitched 9 innings giving up 10 hits and 3 walks.

'I struggled a bit out there today,' Cicotte said, 'but I toughed it out and
we got the win.'
