Municipal Stadium where the potent Cleveland Indians beat the ice-cold
Cincinnati Reds 6 to 1.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance

cracked a two-run shot in the 5th inning and doubled in the 7th inning.
Cleveland had only 5 hits for the game.

Lemon(13-8) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Randy
Gumpert(3-9) was the loser. He gave up 5 hits and 6 walks in 7 innings.
