Bill Dahlen cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Clark Griffith allowed Cap
Anson to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game at Eclipse Park where the
Chicago Colts beat the Louisville Colonels by the score of 10 to 4.

Dahlen led the offense for Chicago.  He bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd
inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 7th inning.  Chicago totaled
16 hits on the afternoon.  

Griffith(11-7), allowing 4 runs for the game, picked up the victory. George
Hemming(10-17) was given the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 16 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
