his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Philadelphia Phillies topped the
reeling Cleveland Spiders by a score of 6 to 1 at Baker Bowl.

Philadelphia had the winning rally in the 8th inning scoring 5 runners on 5
hits.  The key offensive moment was provided by Donahue who thrilled the
crowd when he doubled scoring two baserunners.  Philadelphia totaled 11 hits
on the afternoon.
