WEB GEMS- Bot 9th: Freddy Parent robbed Harry Bay of a base hit.

Bill Dinneen completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Boston
Americans defeated the Cleveland Naps by the score of 6 to 1 at League
Park.

Cleveland found themselves trailing quickly as the Boston bats came through in
the first inning as they scored 4 runs on 2 base hits. That was all the runs
Dinneen(7-11) needed. Boston finished with just 6 hits in the victory.

Earl Moore(12-7) was the loser. The Boston ballclub's record now stands at
47-41. Even with the loss, Cleveland still has a nice 9-1 record in recent
weeks. They are 56-29 on the season.
