Bert Daniels had 4 hits and Jack Quinn went the distance at League Park where
the New York Highlanders beat the Cleveland Naps 7 to 5.

In the top of the 2nd inning New York went on top for good scoring 2 runners
on 4 hits.  Cleveland threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.

The winning pitcher was Quinn(9-10) who allowed 5 runs for the game. The loss
was charged to Cy Falkenberg(8-10).  He was hit hard and gave up 14 hits and
4 walks in 9 innings.  

'I was a little good, a little bad and a little ugly.' said Quinn, 'I was just
giving us a chance to win.'
