Sam Leever went the distance as the sizzling Pittsburgh Pirates clobbered the
outmatched Brooklyn Superbas, 13 to 1.

Pittsburgh jumped on top to stay in the 2nd inning when they came up with 3
runs on 4 hits.  That early run support was enough for Leever(9-10) and
Pittsburgh.  Pittsburgh banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.  

Ned Garvin(6-11) was given the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 12 hits and
