inning, doubled which plated a run in the 6th inning and doubled plating a
run in the 7th inning. Boston managed 18 hits in their victory.

The win was credited to Gibson(4-2) who went the whole way allowing 6 runs. Cy
Ferry(0-1) was given the loss. He was knocked around by Boston, allowing 18
hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.

With this win, Boston has a 45-41 record. They have been 5-5 lately.
Cleveland's manager was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We
can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a
while.'
