Hack Simmons had 4 hits and 4 RBI and Jack Quinn completed the game without
help from the bullpen as the Baltimore Terrapins man-handled the Chicago team
- the final score was 14 to 2.

Simmons enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He lined a one-base hit knocking in
a run in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 5th inning, lined a single which
brought home a run in the 6th inning and banged out a base-hit bringing in a
run in the 8th inning.  Baltimore banged out 15 hits on the afternoon.

Quinn(16-7) got the victory, allowing 2 runs for the game. Max Fiske(7-8) was
hit with the loss.  He saw his ERA jump from 2.59 to 3.03 as gave up 12 runs
in 7 and 2/3 innings.  

Baltimore now has a record of 53-39.  Chicago has a record of 57-41 after the
loss.
