Del Ennis ripped 3 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates topped the
Washington Nationals in 10 innings by a score of 7 to 5 at Forbes Field.

The score was tied at 5 after nine. Pittsburgh came out on top in the 10th
inning. Yogi Berra led off and started the rally when he hit a single. Roy
Face then let one slip out of his hand for a wild pitch. Face then threw a
pitch that got away from the catcher. Ennis was up next and he bombed a

wildly. A wild affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.

Bob Friend(2-0) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Face(2-2) absorbed
the loss in relief. Ennis was in a good mood after the game, 'I'm just
seeing and hitting the ball real well now. I made some adjustments last week
and they are paying off. That's what this game is about. making adjustments
as the season goes along.'
