Tommy Tucker had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Hank Gastright was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Boston
Beaneaters defeated the Brooklyn Grooms by the score of 5 to 2 at Eastern
Park.

Boston came up with 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning with the help of 4
hits.  They would hold up as the winning runs.  Boston totaled 12 hits on the
afternoon.  

Gastright(5-5) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Dan Daub(0-1)
was given the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 12 hits and 5 walks in 9
innings.
