WEB GEMS- Top 8th: John Malarkey robbed Kid Gleason of a base hit.

Bill Hoffer was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and right fielder Willie Keeler had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the
Baltimore Orioles defeated the Washington Senators by a score of 11 to 2 at
Boundary Field.

The Washington fans didn't appreciate the big day Keeler had. He delivered a
single in the 3rd inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 5th inning,
ripped a one-base hit which plated a run in the 7th inning and doubled in the
9th inning. Baltimore dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different
innings.

Hoffer(16-7) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Jake Boyd(3-6)
was given the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 7 runs in 6 and
1/3 innings.
