The red-hot Cincinnati Reds toppled the Brooklyn Dodgers in 11 innings by a 7
to 3 score at Redland Field.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Cincinnati came out the victor
in the 11th inning.  The critical plate appearance was by Jake Stahl who
brought the crowd to their feet when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam
homerun.  Cincinnati had 14 hits for the afternoon.  

Barney Pelty(5-5) allowed no runs in 2 innings, and picked up the victory.
Eppa Rixey(10-6) suffered the loss in relief.  Cincinnati extended their
winning streak to 8 games.
