George Leclair went the distance at Exposition Park where the Pittsburgh
Rebels beat the St. Louis Terriers by the score of 5 to 1.

St. Louis was unable to recover after Pittsburgh went ahead in the 4th inning
scoring one runner on 2 hits.  After an out was recorded, Rebel Oakes banged
out a single.  Hugh Bradley stepped into the batter's box and he laced a
single.  Cy Rheam then would hit into a force play scoring the run.
Pittsburgh finished with 9 hits in the victory.  

Leclair(4-1) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Bob Groom(7-15) was
given the loss.  He pitched 8 innings allowing 9 hits and 2 walks.
