Miller Huggins had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the
Brooklyn Robins in 11 innings by a score of 10 to 7 at Ebbets Field.

Both teams had scored 7 runs after nine full innings.  St. Louis came out on
top in the 11th inning.  Huggins started the inning off right when he ripped
a single.  Lee Magee stepped into the batter's box and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt.  Cozy Dolan then tripled scoring a run.  Dots Miller was up
next and he reached on an error plating another run.  One out later, Miller
took second on a stolen base.  St. Louis continued their aggressive style
with another stolen base scoring the final run of the inning.  For the game
St. Louis out-hit Brooklyn 14 to 11.  

The win went to Bill Steele(5-4) who allowed 2 runs in 3 innings. Frank
Allen(6-7) was given the loss in relief.  St. Louis scored big getting 3 runs
off him in 2 innings.
