TEAM RISP- Stars: 11 for 27 Browns: 28 for 42

Count Campau had 5 hits and 9 RBI as the St. Louis Browns ballclub embarrassed
the ice-cold Syracuse Stars by the count of 46 to 14.

Campau was in a groove all day. He clubbed a two-run home run in the 4th
inning, singled bringing home two baserunners in the 5th inning, hit a single
which scored a run in the 5th inning, slapped a one-base hit plating two runs
in the 5th inning and ripped a base-hit plating two runs in the 7th inning.
St. Louis lit up the scoreboard in the 5th inning which saw them score 19
runs on 16 hits and the 7th inning which saw them plate 8 runs on 5 hits.
Syracuse was not lacking for run support as they scored in 5 separate
innings, yet victory eluded them as they seemed to forget that pitching is
also needed to win ballgames.

Billy Hart(3-1) picked up the victory, allowing 14 runs in 7 innings. Dan
Casey(3-27) suffered the loss. He was unable to control the St. Louis
offense and allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
