George Suggs allowed Jeff Pasley to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
and Gavvy Cravath had 4 hits and scored 3 times at Redland Field as the
Brooklyn Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds 11 to 3.

Brooklyn took the lead off Buster Brown in the first inning scoring 2 runs on
2 base hits.  Eddie Collins led off and keyed the rally when he laced a
one-base hit.  Collins was running on the next pitch and he stole second.
Burt Shotton struck out, unable to help the rally.  Cravath came up and he
doubled knocking in a run.  After another out, Vic Saier stepped in and he
reached on an error scoring the final run of the inning.  Brooklyn banged out
17 hits on the afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Suggs(10-10) who allowed 3 runs for the game.
Brown(4-5) was the losing pitcher.  He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2
walks in 4 innings.
