Buddy Rosar homered and had 5 RBI and Joe Coleman had an impressive outing as
the Washington Nationals clobbered the outmatched Pittsburgh Pirates, 11 to
0.

The Washington fans enjoyed the offense provided by Rosar.  He lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' in the 4th inning, doubled plating two runs in the 5th
inning and laced a base-knock in the 8th inning.  Washington managed 15 hits
in their victory.  

Coleman(3-5) went the distance for the shutout. Billy Pierce(0-1) took the
loss.  He was unable to control the Washington offense and allowed 9 hits and
7 walks in 5 innings.
