Pete Browning had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Guy Hecker pitched 9 strong
innings as the Louisville Eclipse clobbered the outmatched Columbus Buckeyes,
13 to 3.

Hecker(18-14) escaped virtually unscathed against the Columbus hitters.  He
didn't allow much, just 5 hits and no walks in 9 innings.  Louisville rapped
out 10 hits for the afternoon.  

The losing pitcher was Frank Mountain(14-19).  He was knocked around pretty
good, giving up 13 runs in 9 innings.
